Since he was a young boy, Caleb has loved playing in the dirt and making things grow in the garden with his parents and grandparents. Growing up in a small farming community gave him lots of opportunities to learn mechanical, maintenance, and repair skills. Over the years, his passion for plants and ability to fix things up has continually increased.
He honed his education with a degree in Landscape Design from Lincoln Land Community College in Illinois while working for several different landscape companies. After completing his degree in Theology from Oral Roberts University, Caleb started working for Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, OK as the Horticulture Assistant. After working at Southern Hills for 3 1/2 years, he followed a call from a superintendent to Dallas Country Club in Highland Park, Texas to serve as the Horticulture Manager. Caleb was able to oversee a complete renovation of the club landscaping and the plants thrived under his care, even in the blistering summer heat. During his time at the club, he also designed and maintained the landscaping for several of the club members.
Using his experience from remodeling and maintaining homes growing up, Caleb continued to build his home maintenance skills with a room-by-room remodel of his home in Texas.
After Caleb’s two daughters were born, he decided it was time to move closer to family and launched Tended Property Services in Hendersonville, North Carolina to be able to meet the landscaping and home maintenance needs of the community. Caleb uses his expertise in service, mechanical skills, passion for plants, and love for nature to beautify and maintain residential and commercial properties.
